Create Custom Podcast files for your ibiza Rhapsody Player!
If you have a favorite podcast that is not in the ibiza Rhapsody Podcast library, and the podcast web address is quite long & you do not feel like manually entering URL utilizing the ibiza text input entry method, this easy 'copy and paste' podcast file generator will create your favorite podcast to drag n' drop to your ibiza Rhapsody player very quickly!
DIRECTIONS:
- Copy the URL from the podcast feed (found in the address bar of your web browser) by highlighting the address and selecting "Edit" and then "copy" from your browser window -- OR -- highlight the address and right click "copy" using your mouse.
- Paste the podcast web address into the "Podcast web Address (URL)" box.
- Manually enter a title for your podcast in the "Name of Podcast or Title" box.
- Click the "Prepare to Make PCast file!" button.
- On the following screen, read the edit warning & then click on the "Create My Podcast File Now!" button
- When prompted with a "Save As..." alert, save the newly-created pcast file to your desktop (it will be named with the title you provide and will appear as something like "titleofpodcast.pcast".
- Plug your ibiza Rhapsody player into your Windows PC, & when prompted with the popup that says "Portable Device: What do you want Windows to do?" select the option "Open Device to View Files using Windows Explorer" & & click "OK."
- Click on "Device Storage" and select/open the "Podcasts" directory.
- Drag your newly-created .pcast file into the "Podcasts" folder, remove the mini-USB cord, connect to an access point and let the first 2 episodes download.
- Enjoy your newly-added podcast! :)
